Jones added that while it’s pretty fun to become famous through all of this, it’s all about staying true to yourself. “I will never downplay [the hype] or to say [the new attention] “It’s not the coolest stuff in the world,” Jones admitted. “But at the same time, we just have to be ourselves.” And the only thing that has changed is that there is now a camera in the suite.

Per Page sixJones and the three-time Super Bowl champion have been friends since they were in kindergarten in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Swift appeared in the first two Chiefs games of the season (both home games) but was absent from the last two (both away games). After the singer-songwriter’s absence caused some fans to jump to conclusions about the couple’s relationship, a 2016 interview with Kelce surfaced about what he expects from his future girlfriend. In the video, the NFL star explained that he doesn’t expect his partner to be at every game.

“If you’re dating a professional athlete, at least for me, I don’t think you have to go to all the games,” the University of Cincinnati graduate noted. “I mean, there are eight home games, eight away games and playoffs. I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to play every single game.”
