On The Way To Safari, I Had A Rolex

Due to getting up super early to go on Safari, I did not have time for a proper breakfast so I grabbed a Rolex.

In Uganda a Rolex might be a watch but most likely it is the name of amazing street food. It’s a Roti or Chapati rolled around an omelette and made like a wrap.

There are Rolex stands everywhere you go and it’s fun to watch them being made. I even got a lesson in the Rwenzori mountain area from the cook at one of the places we stayed at. I was so engrossed in making them, I did not have time to grab my camera.

We stopped at a roadside stand in Fort Portal and watched the man make the Chapati – photo below.

Yummy!

Come taste a Rolex on our photo-tour to Uganda from June 2-16, 2019.
